This research examines the representation of love through magical realism in characters in the literary work. The novel entitled The Invisible Life of Addie Larue by Victoria Elizabeth Schwab is the object in this research. The aim of the research is to identify elements of magical realism and the representation of love through magic realism in the experiences of the characters in the novel with the theory of magic realism by Wendi B. Faris along with supporting theories, namely the wheel of love theory by Jhon Alan Lee. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This research also shows types of love represented through magical realism in the experiences of 4 characters by Wendy B. Faris' magical realism theory and Jhon Alan Lee's wheel of love theory. The conclusion of this research is the fulfillment of the five elements of magical realism and the types of love represented by these elements in the experiences of several characters which makes this literary work is a work of magical realism and love at the same time.
