SILANG KUASA DALAM PEMBENTUKAN DESA SUNGAI SELAN RAYA DI ANTARA AKSEPTABILITAS DAN RESISTENSI

Abstract

This thesis discusses "Cross Dispute in the Formation of Sungai Selan Raya Village Between Acceptability and Resistance". Meanwhile, the theoretical basis used in this study is the Resource Mobilization Theory from Anthony Obserchall. The main thesis in this theory is how individuals or groups, organizations mobilize and use various resources: moral resources, cultural resources, organizational resources, human resources, material resources owned, to achieve political goals. The resources in question include social aspects (networks of relationships, social influence, knowledge, skills, and reputation). This type of research is qualitative descriptive research with three stages; observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that from moral resources, the formation of Sungai Selan Raya village has received support from the Sungai Selan District government, the Sungai Selan village government, and support from Sungai Selan village community leaders. From cultural resources, Sungai Selan Village always prioritizes deliberation and consensus, but there are still some community leaders who are offended, so that deliberation and consensus in relation to the formation of Sungai Selan Village has not gone as expected. Organizational-social resources have met one of the requirements of the five existing components. In terms of resources, they have met the standards for village expansion. In terms of material resources, the formation of the village is ready to be carried out, this can be seen from the readiness of the community's economic resources; plantations, fisheries, mining, and swallow farming by the majority of the community.
