- This study focuses on the implementation of online learning policiy in elementary schools within Bangka Regency, which involve several stages. The aim of this research is to assess the implementation of online learning policies at elementary schools in Bangka Regency during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is to understand the execution of the online learning policy in elementary schools in Bangka Regency during the pandemic. The theoretical framework used in this research is Merilee S. Grindle’s policy implementation theory. The research methodology includes observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The findings reveal several stages in the implementation of the online learning policy in elementary schools in Bangka Regency. These stages include policy implementation, challenges, and teacher adaptation, availability of technological infrastructure, parental involvement, and implications and recommendations for improving online learning. The implementation of the policy is influenced by school preparedness, teacher adaptation, parental support, as well as infrastructure and accessibility. Teachers face challenges in developing new technological skills and adapting to dual roles. The availability of technological infrastructure and uneven internet access are key challenges. The role of parents significantly impacts the success of online learning. The implications of this study include recommendations regarding technological infrastructure, ongoing teacher training, collaboration between schools and parents, as well as conducting workshops and interactive sessions. These steps are crucial for enhancing online learning in the future.
