Abstract
The government is concerned about instances of violence against children. striving to ensure their protection and the realization of their rights. To safeguard and ensure the rights of children. the government has implemented a Child-Friendly Regency (KLA) policy. as stated in Central Bangka Regency Regulation Number 4 of 2021. Ille objective of this study is to examine the implementation of the Child-Friendly Regency (KLA) program development policy in Central Bangka Regency and identify the elements that support or hinder its implementation The research was analysed using George Edward Ill's theory of policy implementation. which identifies four key components for successful implementation; communication, resources. disposition or attitudes and bureaucracy. The employed methodology was descriptive and qualitative in nature The findings indicated that the policy implementation process has been satisfactory but not fully efficient. as only ceJtain regions and communities comprehend and experience the effects of Child-Friendly Regency_ Various supporting and inhibiting factors in Central Bangka Regency certainly contribute to this. ne government's unwavering commitment. the ongoing village-level regeneration system through children's forums and Community-Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM), and the support of the Central Bangka Regency legislature were the primary reasons for the execution of the Child-Friendly Regency Meanwhile. the inhibiting factors mere the community's lack of understanding of the Child-Friendly Regency (KLA) policy and the uneven fulfilment of children's rights.
